Hearts Holiday Thanksgiving
Impact The Lives Of Others This Holiday Season!
Through the Feed A Family initative, our neighbors will be able to share in the joy of their family traditions and not miss out on the benefits of Thanksgiving.
This year, we have several different opportunities for you, your family, or your group to help those in need this holiday season! Getting involved with Feed A Family can be a meaningful way to make a positive impact for our neighbors and their families for Thanksgiving Day.

Volunteer at the Hearts Campus
Sign up you, your family, or your group to pack meal kits or distribute to families before Thanksgiving. We have two date available for "Thanksgiving Grocery Bag Packers", to which you would create meal kits for the Thanksgiving meal distribution. Additional participation is needed for "Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway", where you would distribute the meal kits so that families can cook a Thanksgiving day meal.
Remember, whether you've got two minutes or two hours, you can help keep our neighbor’s Thanksgiving traditions going for future generations.

CHRISTMAS OUTREACH COMING SOON
Bringing Christmas Joy To Those Without A Home
For decades, Hearts has been partnering with The Buffalo Dream Center to provide a Christmas Eve dinner for the homeless and more recently the West Side community too.
Hearts collects Christmas cookies to provide a takeaway dessert for the dinner's guests. Hearts also helps with transportation and ingredients for the dinner.
In addition to those efforts, Hearts will also be partnering with Little Portion Friary, Genesee Street Homeless Shelter and Holy Cross Homeless Shelter to provide meals, Christmas cookies and stockings filled with care packages.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13
Bake Cookies
Calling all bakers! We need 300 dozen cookies! We're asking that you bake your family's favorite Christmas cookies. Click the link to view drop off times at the Hearts Campus. These cookies will then be distributed to the homeless during the week of Christmas.
Please do not pre-package your cookies. We recommend bringing them in bulk/disposable containers or 1-gallon bags. Our volunteers will package them for the homeless (you can sign up to volunteer below).
Volunteer
You, your family or your group can sign up to pack stockings or distribute them with meals before Christmas. We have two dates available to pack stockings with care packages that will include toiletries, gloves and winter hats for the homeless. Do you like to cook? We have volunteer opportunities available to assist in preparing Christmas meals. There is also an evening available to distribute these stockings.
Donate
Sponsorships will cover the cost of prepared meals and care packages which will be placed in homemade stockings. By donating just $12, you will allow Hearts to purchase toiletries, gloves and winter hats that will be assembled into care packages and be distributed with prepared meals for the homeless this Christmas season.
