With Open Hearts: Sharing Hope This Christmas
This Christmas season, we’re inviting you to open your heart to the homeless and join us in a compassionate mission to bring warmth, comfort, and cheer to 300 of our community’s unhoused. Imagine the joy lighting up faces as a hot, nourishing Christmas meal is served, complete with cookies and a stocking filled with essential toiletries. This caring gesture not only uplifts the men, women, and children served by the Hearts Mobile Soup Kitchen, but it also brings a ray of hope to those seeking warmth in local homeless shelters through the Code Blue collaborative.
Our goal is to bring hope to those enduring Buffalo’s bitter winter. By collecting and providing toiletries, we acknowledge that hygiene is as essential as food. Many people experiencing homelessness suffer from preventable health conditions that could be alleviated with regular access to proper hygiene and other basic needs. Hygiene products are essential but not always accessible to everyone. By providing these items to men, women, and children we’re giving more than just soap or toothpaste – we’re helping to protect their health and uphold their dignity.
As the holiday gets closer, Jamie and Carmen, and many other
folks like them look to Hearts for assistance. With your help and
through God’s blessings, our goal is to help 450 families with a
turkey and sides for a Thanksgiving Day meal to remember
Your caring contribution has the power to bring about a remarkable difference in the lives of those facing homelessness. Through your support, our friends experiencing homelessness will not only receive the basic necessity of a hearty, nutritious meal but also feel the uplifting spirit of the holiday season. Acts of kindness like these can instill a sense of dignity and worth—feelings often lost in their circumstances. Together, with your generosity, we can spread joy and warmth at a time when it’s needed most.

Commercial Kitchen Dedication
On Wednesday, October 30th, Hearts held a dedication for the newly renovated Commercial Kitchen. We invited all those who supported this project in so many different ways. Donors, volunteers, board members, and vendors, all came to celebrate this special occasion. It was a great time of fellowship and time to honor the community and dedicate the kitchen space back to God to use for His plan, His purpose, and His people. The kitchen is officially in use and the meals have been better than ever!
