Kathleen Chiavetta Chooses Hearts To Receive Grant

In the fall of 2022, Buffalo Business First held their 16th annual Women of Influence awards. The awards, sponsored by BestSelf Behavioral Health and Lake Shore Savings Bank, took place on September 15th. “The awards recognize the business acumen and community spirit of these women.”, Business First Publisher John Tebeau said.

As a Women of Influence Honoree, Kathleen Chiavetta, was a recipient of a $1,000 grant from Lake Shore Savings Bank. Kathleen is the Chief Operating Officer for Chiavetta’s Catering Service Inc. She’s a third-generation leader of a family catering and BBQ business with a 68-year-long history in the Buffalo community.

Kathleen says Chiavetta’s® is proud to be a Buffalo brand and are invested in the Western New York community, and it shows. With this grant, Kathleen was able to donate to the non-profit of her choice and she chose Hearts for the Homeless®. This grant will go towards Hearts’ mission to clothe and feed the chronic homeless, poor, and those in need.

Thank you to Kathleen Chiavetta and Lake Shore Savings Bank for supporting Hearts for the Homeless® programs.
