Homeless Shelter Partnerships
At Hearts, we believe that everyone deserves a warm meal and a roof over their head, especially during the cold winter months. That's why we have formed partnerships with local homeless shelters, such as Little Portion Friary - to provide much-needed support to those in need.
Our partnership with the Restoration Society, Inc. and the Code Blue initiative has been instrumental in our efforts in providing over 37,000 hot meals to the homeless community in Buffalo on frigid nights over the past year. We understand that a warm meal can make all the difference, and we're proud to be a part of this life-saving initiative.
But our efforts go beyond just providing meals. Our goal is to make a lasting impact and bring hope to those who may have lost it. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a fulfilling life, and we're dedicated to making that happen. That's why we need your help. Your donation can provide hot meals to those who need them most, giving them the nourishment they need to face another day. In addition, it's one less cost for the shelter which allows them to reinvest what would have been spent on food, back into additional nights of shelter. By donating, you're not just providing a meal, you're providing hope, a brighter future and so much more.
We encourage you to see the impact of our partnership and learn how you can help. We thank you for your support and for joining us in our mission. Together, we can provide warmth and comfort to those who need it most. We hope that you'll consider supporting our efforts and making a difference in the lives of the homeless community in Buffalo.

With the ever changing seasons in Western New York so do our effects in which we respond.
During the blizzard in December 2022, Hearts was able to provide hot meals and Christmas stockings to those in need. The stockings were stuffed with toiletries, a winter hat, and gloves.
The final days of 2022 were some of the most challenging for our region as we faced a record-breaking blizzard. We were able to dig out at the Hearts Campus in Riverside and thanks to the preparation of our Outreach Team and other staff members, a special delivery of provisions were delivered to our homeless shelter partners in addition to meals. There were around 200 residents at the shelters who received Pepsi products as a welcome treat and a pair of Bombas socks that was for many the first clean pair to have access to since before the storm hit Buffalo.
