Support Hearts for the Homeless®
Hearts for the Homeless ® operates a mobile soup kitchen 5 nights a week, 52 weeks a year. On average, we serve between 50-80 clients a night. Our meal consists of a sandwich, snack, and beverage, and in the winter months a hot meal. The chronic homeless and poor that we serve can choose between peanut butter and jelly, ham, turkey, tuna or chicken salad sandwich. Although the word soup is in our name, we serve hardy meals such as chicken and rice, beef stew, chili, pasta, and meatballs, along with our client’s favorite “franks” and beans. In addition to the meals, our volunteer teams hand out blankets, jackets, boots, new t-shirts and much more. All of which are given free to the clients. Visit our Mobile Soup Kitchen page for more information.
In addition to our mobile soup kitchen, we currently sponsor a food pantry and are in the process of opening our own adjacent to our long-standing ministry center. This new project, Hearts Harvest Pantry and Cafe, will allow us to serve many families and individuals that are food insecure. The new pantry will include fresh food and allow clients to pick the food items they would like to prepare and eat.
Your financial donation directly impacts the clients we serve and allows us to carry out our mission of feeding and clothing “the least of these.”
