MOBILE SOUP KITCHEN: Hearts for the Homeless® has been in operation since December of 1990 primarily as a mobile soup kitchen that operates out of a fully-stocked motor home. Teams of 4 to 6 volunteers from all walks of life work together each week to fulfill the call to feed the poor. Each night a hot meal, sandwiches, dessert and a beverage are given to the clients that come to our mobile soup kitchen. In addition to food, our volunteers hand out clothing and housewares year round. In the winter months they also hand out warm coats, scarves, hats, gloves, shoes and boots.

Our volunteers get to know our clients on a very personal level because of their weekly involvement and are able to share the love of the Lord with them. Many accept Christ, some get off the streets and some come back to tell us their life has changed for the good because of the assistance they received at a very difficult time in their life from our organization.
